WELCOME

First, we want to say that we have mixed feelings about you being here. Sad, because it means that you’ve experienced loss, glad because you’ve made the brave first step about facing it.

Grief can make even the smallest decisions feel heavy. One of the reasons this guided experience exists is to remove some of that pressure. Instead of searching for resources or wondering where to start, everything you need is already here.

Here's what you'll find:

  • The book shares the lessons that helped us find our footing again.

  • The guided workbook takes those ideas one step further, offering reflections and exercises you can move through at your own pace.

  • The combined version has everything in one document, if you'd prefer to print it all together.

  • You’ll also find reflection cards, which you can print and draw from whenever you feel like you need a question to sit with.

  • The posters are simple reminders you can place somewhere visible, surrounding yourself with color and words that may offer a moment of steadiness.

  • And the thank you cards are included to make one small task easier if you ever want to express gratitude to someone who supported you during this time.

Please note: All of the materials can be used in the way that feels easiest for you. You may choose to print them, view them on your computer, or send them to a Kindle or other reading device.

There is no right way to use these materials. You might move through them step by step, or you might return to different pieces depending on what you need on a particular day.

Take your time. Move at your own pace. Skip anything that does not feel helpful in the moment and return to it later if you wish.

With care,

Grief, Unlocked
